Chamber RFP Update - September 19 PDF Print E-mail

September 19th at 11:30 a.m.

 

The Chamber received seven bid proposals to provide us with web design and support services by the September 9th deadline.  

 

Amended RFP Process:

 

The selection date of September 16th has been moved back since the Chamber is still reviewing the documents.  After the bids have been examined, the Chamber will invite those companies that passed the initial screening process to a more in-depth interview and meeting to discuss the particulars of their bid.  It is our expectation that we will select the successful bidder following these meetings.

 

Due to the extended review process, the contract will not begin on October 1st as originally planned. We will have a better idea as to when the Chamber expects to announce the award and begin the contract period after the round of interview meetings.  We do not anticipate that the delay will be prolonged.  

 

We thank everyone for your interest in providing web design and support services to the Chamber and for your participation in the process.

Dear Prospective Bidders:

We will be extending the deadline for submission of the Chamber’s RFP for Web Design and Support Services to Tuesday, September 9, 2008, to the Chamber by 2:00 p.m. and must be in our possession by this date and time.  Submissions after this date and time will not be accepted.  The Chamber anticipates selecting the successful bidder on September 16, 2008, with an expected contract date to commence on October 1, 2008.  All other provisions of the original RFP still apply.  These provisions will remain in effect unless superseded by future communications.

Due to an extended time away from the office, I did not get a chance to summarize the pre-bid meeting of August 5, 2008, at the Chamber and to obtain the requested information. It is anticipated that this will be completed next week.  The summarization and any modifications to the bid requirements will be sent electronically and posted on this section of our website.

Please come back to this area of the Chamber website in order to receive periodic updates of the RFP and to view the summary of our pre-bid meeting, which was held on August, 5, 2008, at the Chamber.   These items will be available shortly.
